October of 2014 Dr. Jefferson suffered an anterior venus malformation (AVM - a brain bleed) and had to have brain surgery. She was in a coma, for several days, and was given less that a 20% chance to live from ONE AVM, but she had TWO AVM's.
Thus, the doctors told her family to get her house in order. They also told them if she did manage to survive, she would NEVER be in her right mind again. They were WRONG!!! She is still here and doing fabulous. That's why YADA counseling is so personal to her.
Having an authentic covenant relationship with God, the Holy Spirit is the KEY and ANSWER to having and living a TRULY, abundant, spiritual LIFE in Christ. God, the Holy Spirit, worked together with Dr. Jefferson through her relationship with HIM in Christ to return to HEALTH. God helped her discover the power of his indwelling Holy Spirit to HEAL, DELIVER, and MAKE WHOLE again no matter what issues or concerns she was facing.
God, the Holy Spirit addressed every concern she was going through from his counseling WORD in practical and transforming ways. She improved OUT of the NORM. People prayed for her and while in the coma, the presence of God was with her each and every day. He was BONDED to her through his HOLY LOVE and he provided for her recovery every step of the way.
In the covenant relationship with God, the Holy Spirit, through Jesus, it is the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit that is working "in" and "through" you to bring about healing, deliverance and freedom.
During her ordeal Dr. Jefferson began to understand, in a much deeper way, how her beliefs, feelings, interests, self-identity, and thoughts, outside of God’s Holy WORD could negatively impact who she had become IN Christ. She was SURROUNDED, like a shield, with God's FAVOR.
Without identifying herself as a NEW CREATION, who was in a covenant relationship with God, she would not have RELAXED and entrusted her TOTAL CARE to HIM. She learned that responding to life’s issues and concerns, by trusting and dependency upon God through Jesus , his WORD, helped her begin to SEE her illness as a problem God would HELP her RECOVER from and HE DID!!.
Dr Jefferson wants her clients and EVERY redeemed child of God to learn the importance of ALIGNING their perceptions up with biblical truths. It is God's TRUTH that will enable them to see where distorted/sinful thinking is impacting how they are reacting to life’s issues and concerns, especially when the POWER of the indwelling Holy Spirit is within them. These issues and concerns are usually rooted in the past thought processes controlled by sin and the sinful nature, but they are FREE from both.
Continually following and listening to sin and the sinful nature REVEAL through one's behavior patterns, thought patterns, and speech patterns, pre-salvation, they are NOT walking in the FREEDOM they have been GRANTED or GIFTED to HAVE.
The covenant relationship with God, the Holy Spirit, therapy is based on living as a NEW CREATION who trusts and depends upon the Word of God to counsels and the indwelling POWER of the Holy Spirit to lead, enable and guide them.
The covenant relationship with God, the Holy Spirit, therapy will bring indivdiuals, like it bought Dr Jefferson, into an authentic transformation opportunity where they can truly experience LIVING as a “new creatures” in Christ Jesus.
Prior to her brain bleed Dr. Jefferson had ONLY written 5 books. After the coma and spending time in God's presence, she has gone on to write several books. Dr. Jefferson will be finishing her 100+ book in May of 2021!
